        As a kid in 1979 the movie and merchandise was golden.

                        The picture appears to have been airbrushed by Mego to closer match the movie model. Note the emblem on the secondary hull, the rectangular vs double humped torpedo launchers, and the reworked deflector area.

                            I agree with Rob, as soon as I saw it I was reminded of the 1979 Kenner Star Wars "Toy Centre" store display seen here.

                            What a great item to find, there can't be more than a couple of those floating around.
