    Mego Prototypes Auction includes Vinnie Babarino Super Softie

    Some more fantastic Mego Prototypes have surfaced at Heritage Auctions including original head sculpts and the never before seen Vinnie Babarino Super Softie

    Heritage auctions has revealed it’s mid May lot which includes more treasures from Mego Sculptor Gene Salamacha this month’s lot includes the never before discussed line of “Welcome Back Kotter” Super Softies that Mego was apparantly planning as well as the original head sculpt for the Wizard from the Wizard of Oz.       I doubt it, looks just like the Wizard of Oz ones. They were obviously pretty far along.

        Mind blown, I'd never even imagined that Mego was considering Kotter Super Softies! I wonder what the timeline was for these compared to Mattel getting the license to make Kotter figures?
