Clamshell cases

I'm needing to order clamshell cases again for some vintage Mego Star Trek figures on cards I've added to my collection.

Last time I ordered a bunch from Zoloworld, and I have the rest of my carded ST figures in them currently. The only issues I had with the Zoloworld ones were some of them didn't quite close all the way, although that was relatively minor, but more significantly for me: they had a good 2 inches of extra space above the top of the card (for versatility, to accommodate other figure types I imagine)...which made the cases too tall to fit along the top of my doorways in the hall, as well as quite taller than the EMCE cases I'm displaying near them. I'd be much happier if I could get some cases that are actually the right size for the vintage figures.

Can anyone suggest any other sources for clamshells like this that might fit better, or is Zoloworld the best we have at the moment?

Before anyone suggests it, Dr. Mego's cases do not work with carded vintage figures, and he doesn't make any that do...

don't the ctvt ones fit they are smaller than docs

I'm in the same boat as you. The Castaway clams were great, but I am almost out. There must be someone that makes a clamshell similar to the castaway clams.

Yeah, it's looking pretty much like ZoloWorld is the only game in town right now. I think I'm going to have to just place another order with them.
