That was terrific. This one is great, too: Christmas 1977. If you FF to the 3:02 mark, you can see the kid rip open a MIB Mego Batman and a MIB Mego Batcycle, gift-wrapped together. I remember that's how my mom always wrapped my Mego toys… together. Perhaps they were so inexpensive, moms were inclined to gift more than one Mego item? I always felt each Mego deserved its own gift-wrapping, naturally.

    CHRISTMAS 1977

    Fun stuff.

It's always neat seeing JJ Armes. I have always found that figure fascinating. He caught my attention back in 1976 in the Sears catalog and was a Christmas gift that year. Finally got him back about 15 years ago boxed. It's so very neat to see a figure that was based on someone real. Never did get the truck. Someday maybe. Nice seeing the Eagle-Eye Joes too. Looking to be a vintage Joe year around the tree for me this year. I've reached a point where every Christmas now I try to find things (in part or whole) that are vintage and affordable and allocate those as gifts for my dearest wife to grab me. It has given the holiday season a new spin since I can make it nostalgic. Lots of fun.

A simpler time. It is missed.

That kid go such a BOATLOAD of presents, his parents didn't even bother to wrap them! He was definitely that kid down the street who's house you made sure to visit after Christmas. Yeah, he was an OK friend, but check out his toyroom!

Oh, and how awesome was it to unwrap toys as big as you!
