How fantastic! It's inspiring that new discoveries are being made still, who knows what else is out there? Congrats to all involved.

John only had the Purdey to judge by and she was not dissimilar to Maddie Mod. I kept that running because we didn't even know if they existed.

It's quite possibly not a Mego produced figure but it's Megolike and well, pretty damned interesting regardless IMO.

I'm not even positive Fun World is the South African distributor or merely the factory who put it together. One person tells me they were also the people behind the WGSH and Jet Jungle, so I'm piecing it together.
Thanks, Brian. I love this info.

This is the response I got back from Fun World.

          "Hello, Lonnie,

Sorry, but this goes back 45 years. No records. No remembrances.

          Fun World"

Couple of times I have contacted companies that made toys and was surprised by their responses. I asked LJN what their "rubber" wrestling figures were made of or what paint I could use on them and they replied they didn't make those figures. I asked in 96-97 via email.
I wrote Hasbro asking if they could make 3.75 versions of Human Bullet and Atomic Mike but I couldnt remember the names so I described them and drew pictures. They wrote a super nice reply but said they cant make figures from fans' ideas. Maybe my drawings were really bad!

Are these the Figures of Steed & Gambit that go with those Boxes?
