Reading Through My Beater Comics

I'm sure this has been shown before, but I don't remember ever seeing it. Maybe a little early, but it's a good set up for this Friday.

It's in Fantastic Four 166 which is copyrighted to Jan 1976, so I assume this comic was in stores around Oct or Nov '75.

Fantastic Four 166, my first Marvel, and yes I still have it. GREAT comic and not just for the Heroes World add. A classic Hulk vs Thing battle where Mr Fantastic "cures" the Hulk where upon Banner is promptly arrested, which leads the Thing to smash Reed's device and revert Banner back to the Hulk and The Thing swaps sides, leaving Reed, Sue Johnny and the US Army to try and stop both rampaging monsters, but that was in the next ish'. I don't think Reed's device has made another appearance either, even though it worked.

Written by "Rascally" Roy Thomas and drawn by Joltin' George Perez all in the Mighty Marvel Manner. Excelsior!!!
