BREAKING: New Flash Image with Gloves

Also ...probably just me...but I'd pull the sleeve down OVER the
gloves to make it appear as it should ....the sleeve bunched up like that
behind the gloves just don't look right to me...

At that point, I'm thinking that switching out the flesh hands for red hands would be the more aesthetically pleasing choice.

That said: FTC would wow a lot of people if this Flash came with red hands under the glove.

This Flash looks very Mego to me and I really like it, and can't wait to get these. Now I can get rid of my loose Mattel version with giant boots, wonky body,and big nose.

The more I look at the gloves, the less mego they look to me. I'd have preferred simple red hands. Same with Hal Jordan. They look too modern, and I'd hoped they'd blend in more with the Mego of old. Less is more.

I'm so pleased they nailed this figure. This and GL were the ones that had to be right.

Gloves are appropriate for a late generation WGSH. If Super Powers had been done in 1983 by Mego I bet this is what they would have looked like.

I am mildly surprised the boots aren't new boots with Flash bolts on them, but it's an acceptable compromise. That head is fabulous.

I really dig it, I'm spending my money on Super Friends instead but I hope it looks as good as this. That GL is also perfect but I want one with that weird tan.

I agree regarding Flash, particularly considering the lightning trim on the sleeves.

Flash looks great. As a kid when Mego starting trying different approaches to the gloves I think this is where they would have gotten too sooner or later. Iron man had fist gloves, and that made him a little bit cooler than the others too me as a kid. Green Arrow had the colored hands which allowed him to hold his bow, but looked a little less glove like. I thought the Teen Titan gloves were really cool, soft, rubbery and fit well, but took away some play value by not being able to hold stuff. Still no perfect answers to the glove issue I guess no matter how they are handled. When they do the Superfriends Flash maybe he will have yellow gloves like the cartoon, (or was that only the Flash cartoons?)

I would have liked Green lantern to have gloves like Flash ,of course with the ring ,i dont like the 66 batman/robin gloves on this figure.fine
for 66 batman mr freeze and robin ,but they take away that mego vibe ,ordered a set though.

I really like the gloves because it gives the Flash a new play value, especially if they make a Barry Allen figure. This could really become something extraordinary. The possibilities in a Flash series are just endless. That has me incredibly pumped.
