I love Jayna's gloves too. They are way better than oven mitts.

What with ovenmitts ending as soon as they started in the early 70's, I'd be shocked if FTC would've spent a second considering ovenmitts ever again, let alone on new characters.

As far as "evolution" for the DC WGSHs---it's a fine line to dance over---but what with oldschool Marvel WGSH's utilizing rubbery gloves, I'm comfy with FTC's WGSH extension lines using an updated (i.e. "sleeker") version of what some used to call the "nuclear waste handling gloves".

They have other DC lines to get all "totally" modern with.

IMHO, Zan & Jayna look particularly nostalgically WGSH nice in those pics.
