Megos you always want to buy...

Every time I see an 8inch Mego Superman, Batman or Robin carded boxed or loose in great condition I want to buy it. I don't, but I always want to. What Megos always catch your eye even when you already have them?

For some reason every time I see a wonder woman figure I get all excited and see how much and what not, but I already have a beautiful one, there is no need for another but darn if I don't check her out like I've never even seen one, I also get excited when I see RC Batman I don't have him yet, but I hope one day

i never owned any mego's as a kid, they were in the shops but i never had the delight of having 1, they were for folks with money lol

For some strange reason I am always attracted to buying soldier apes. I have a ton of these silly things loose and I just keep buying more. At my last count I had like 30 or so of them complete. Not including the lizard skins, brown tunics, silver apes and other variations. I am just talking the basic common blue tunic soldier ape. I also have a couple of carded and a bunch of parts and builders that I never get around to building because I already have so darned many that are complete. I am wanting the biggest massive ape army there is I guess. I "think" it is because it was one of my most favorite original Mego's as a kid and I only had one at that time. Now I am making up for lost time so to speak. Some day I will build a big dioramma for them to display and post the pictures here at The Museum. It really is not all that high on my priority list at the moment though.

I always Want to Buy the Mego 8'' Thing. I have 3 of them. I always look at them on ebay,.. & If I can get one of around 25 or so,.. I'll buy another one. His Orange Rock arrangement is always different.. I find it interesting,.. & think it's neat that it's always different.

I totally agree with you. For some reason, at least for me, the Star Trek and Ape series are always screaming for a supersweet dioramma to live in. I am ok just displaying my WGSH's, but I really want to do a cool Ape set that incorporates the original playsets, and custom stuff as well. Same for Trek, combine original, dida and then some odd planetary scene.

AFA figures, when little I always wanted a riddler, and RM Batman. Never have gotten either,.....Yet.

Hulk and DinahMite. I have over 20 of both, with Spidey pulling up the rear in the high teens. Its just hard to not pull the trigger when you see them for a bargain. It's harder to find Batman and Superman is good loose complete condition for the same prices, or else I'd do the same with them.

I think I'd buy every complete loose Cornelius I found in good shape if I allowed myself. He was the first I really obsessed over getting when I was a kid, I think that feeling just has hung on or something, but I always feel like I could use another. Luckily, I've managed to keep it down to about 6 or so at the moment, but no matter how I fight, I end up buying at least one a year.
