Mego in the Wild

A group of us from here did our annual summer flea market/toy hunt yesterday and got a bit of surprise.

I was told of a new store that had "some vintage toys". The outside didn't look promising but they had an incredible amount of stuff, including Mego, sorry for the phone pics:

It's in Western New York. The name of this place keeps escaping me, it's mostly sports memorabilia.

Yeah, this store was a real highlight yesterday! I'm so glad someone gave you a heads up on this Brian, I can't wait to go back (and also check out their second location). A lot of the prices were surprisingly decent, next time I'm going to check out the contents of some of those boxed Star Wars items.

I didn't get anything yesterday, but both locations are practically in my neighbourhood, so I'll probably stop by again next weekend and take a closer look at the Star Wars stuff. My kids were with us yesterday, and I have a hard time concentrating on looking at stuff while they are standing beside me bored out of their minds.

Nice store! The only place even close to my vicinity like that is It's a Toy Store in Richland, NJ and even that's a good 2 /12 hours way, so it's pretty much resigned to only when I'm in the area.

Yeah I bought a ten dollar Funko figure. I was severely tempted by a couple of items (and happily could afforded them) but there is always next time....

You know you need that Dr. Who set! I was checking out their website and it looks like the other location might be just sports stuff, I'll probably call first before I make the trip to that one. But I'm definitely heading back to the one we went to, I should probably grab a few of those Remco monsters.
