Robot Chicken DC Comics Special 3

DC Entertainment has released Robot Chicken DC Comics Special 3: Magical Friendship official trailer.

The Robot Chicken DC Comics Special 3: Magical Friendship surrenders DC Comics' multitude of Super Heroes and Super-Villains to the demented whims of the award-winning Robot Chicken for a triumphant third time. This time around, Batman and Superman’s bromance takes a competitive turn and the fate of the universe somehow hangs in the balance! The all-star cast includes Seth Green, Matt Senreich, Breckin Meyer, Alfred Molina, Nathan Fillion, Weird Al Yankovic, Alex Borstein, Giovanni Ribisi, Jonathan Banks, Mae Whitman, Hugh Davidson, Dee Bradley Baker, Zeb Wells, Kevin Shinick, plus Adam West and Burt Ward.

So it appears they have integrated FTC product alongside the Matty DC Retro figures they were using previously? (Batman 66)

I don't know what hurdles FTC might have to jump through, but there is a whole new potential consumer base of hipsters if they can do Robot Chicken variant packaging. I always thought that was a huge missed opportunity with Matty Retro given how many teen/twenty somethings at comic/toy shows point to Megos/ReMegos on my table saying "Robot Chicket".
My store in the MEGO MALL!

Do the teen/twenty-somethings really point that much at your RC-used Mego stuff in the idea that its actually "cool"? Do they ever go one step further and buy it?

If so, that sincerely soothes my ego a bit, as I'm a big RC fan, and always assuming how over-the-hill the majority of RC franchises tend to be. And I feel like I'm not sure if they're just including the older franchises because of the larger amount of markets to grab or if a truly younger audience cares about all these Silver Age superhero references along with all the other maybe-not-so-bygone-era stuff RC intergrates.

wonder where the West head came from? That's not FTC's.
