If I was 90, these might take me back to my childhood.

    Aaah, to be 90 again...

Well, I'll admit I was hoping for some new sculpts, but I'll give them credit for approximating the look of these comic versions with what they had. I really prefer the black-suited Batgirl, so it's good to see her.

I will point out though, Batgirl is a Silver Age character, of course.

Well, speaking for myself, these do take me back to my childhood. My childhood growing up in the 70s, when I read these stories via reprints in Famous First Edition tabloids, DC 100 Page Super-Spectaculars, Batman : From the 30s to the 70s hardcover book, etc. So I don't think you necessarily have to be 90 to feel nostalgia for these iterations of characters.

I like the Batgirl as it's distinctive enough from the original and has an additional Mego connection as this was the version on the back of 77/79 cards.

They look pretty good using materials they already have. A true first appearance figure of The Batman would be great.

Kind of wish Batman had the black on his cowl like Batgirl does. I mean that is how he looks in those comics they show.

This would be a dream come true for me if they were new figures and not reworked Mego versions. I hope in the future FTC will do authentic high quality versions of some of DCs golden age characters first appearances. I am just 47 years old and these are the versions of the characters I love most and have the comics digitally to enjoy.
