They look pretty cool. Just based on your pic, they look like an improvement over Fighting Yank and Black Terror. I can't wait to see the Phantom!

I believe the previous Castaway Toys releases (Yank and Terror) were only available online through AC Comics but I am not sure. Maybe they were Con exclusives.

I did some checking and they were Con exclusives.
The Castaway Toys 8" Fighting Yank and Black Terror poseable action figure was the sell-out sensation of the 2005 FX Toy and Collectible show in Orlando, Florida. Only 100 were manufactured

You Know,.. you could Probably ask David Lee about the Castaway previous figures,... he is a member of the site. I was able to score the Black Terror,.. I enjoy the figure in my collection.

Captain Action Looks fantastic ! I hope to get my grubby Paws on one.

I wouldn't mind owning them but aren't they sold out by now? AC Comics claims that they are.

Once in a While,.. one will pop up here or there.. Just be ready for it. I saw a Fighting Yank on Ebay a few weeks back,.. I was wanting to bid on it,.. but didn't save it to my watch list,.. & forgot about it.

Wow, look at all the 8" factory produced goodness. If you stop and thing about it, it's amazing what folks in the Mego community are accomplishing in recent years. Awesome. Can't wait to see this stuff in person at Megomeet.

That's quite a good point. If you think about it, the massive 1/6 scale market started in the same way. I remember when there was virtually nothing cool, custom and factory produced for 1/6 scale. Then passionate, enterprising collectors and customizers gradually changed the face of the hobby. Now you can get virtually anything your little heart desires.
I wonder if Mego-scale is in for a true rebirth... Sure seems like the beginning of something good is starting to happen!
