Just got this in today:



It's Keop from Battle Of The Planets/Gatchaman/Gforce. Looks like it's a Lion Rock style body with the pegs in the shoulders. It doesn't have rubber bands inside the body at all. sort of like the S-Body I guess. Never had a S-Body...but they don't use rubberbands either right? Anyway...I got him because I've been wanting to do a custom set of Battle Of The Planets/Gatchaman/Gforce figures. The head will probably end up with one of the custom guys here on the museum. It's 6 inch scale...so it is in proportion to the 8 inch other characters in the group. Just have to rig a neckplug. I find it funny that they were doing the rubberbandless (Word?) figures back in '78. Check out the copyright info on the figures back:

That's a Loki body from Space academy from Aviva/Hasbro. They're all on SuperJoe bodies, it's why Kipo survives.

Thanks for the info. Those Loki figures are more affordable than having these imported. It is one sturdy body.
