Help! Does My Joker Have a Repro Jacket?

I could use a little help--

I bought a nice minty type 1 Joker on ebay from a 100% feedback seller I have no reason to mistrust. Everything looks good, except for the jacket--it doesn't have a Mego tag on the inside. I honestly can't tell if it's an original Mego jacket that's very clean, or maybe a Figures Toy Co. reproduction? Did every Mego Joker jacket have the tag sewed inside?

Again, I have no reason to mistrust the seller, but the lack of a Mego tag in the jacket concerns me and I'm worried that maybe the seller himself was duped. Here are a couple of pics from the auction:

    Thanks!

To me, the cuffs look lighter in color than what you typically see. I'm no expert, though. Maybe some of the cuff are a lighter green.

I'm sure someone else who knows a lot more than I do will chime in.

Yeah, the material is definitely a bit transparent; also the colors are a bit darker than they appear in the pictures.

Just a quick question...has FTC, or whatever they call themselves now, marked their repro figures? More so, have they marked their clothing so you can tell the difference between an original and their repro? In my opinion it looks like it could be a repro. Color is too perfect. Also, the stitching on the back of the jacket looks like it may have come from a more modern sewing machine. It's a lot tighter than what I remember it to be for vintage Mego. I could be wrong...but to me it looks like it might be a repro.

I don't know if FTC marks their outfits--I'm pretty sure they don't, as I can't remember ever seeing an FTC figure with a tag on the outfit--but this figure has no markings of any kind in the jacket.

It's not Doc's. His has more of a "shine" to it. Also his have what look like mini stripes going down it.

Mine looks like that although the stitching in the front is smaller on mine.

On the FTC jacket, the cuffs are more of a neon green.

I've been looking at some pictures of the FTC Joker and you're definitely right, the cuffs are much more of a lime green than the cuffs on mine, also the purple in the coat seems a bit deeper and darker. So if it isn't a Doc coat and it isn't an FTC coat, that means it has to be a Mego coat! That's a relief.

Thanks to everyone for their help!
