With The Force Awakens due Christmas will Mego 8" Star Wars finally be possible?

Hasbro has master action figure license for Star Wars Episode V11 The Force Awakens, but through some licensing loophole could Mego 8" Star Wars figures FINALLY be POSSIBLE?

Since these are NEW Star Wars movies by DISNEY could a company like FTC get license for Mego 8" figures based on the NEW movies/characters and maybe Disney would let FTC make Mego 8" figures of Star Wars ORIGINAL Trilogy and PUKEuels I mean PREquels?

I know its a DREAM for all of us since 1977, but FTC DID acquire Adam West Batman 66 TV license as well ENTIRE DC COMIC BOOK UNIVERSE!

I love your thinking! And when it comes to FTC, I don't count them out. They have allot of buying power right now, so I'm sure they bring influence to the table where money is involved. If Hasbro feels they can make a buck with them, why not?

It's very unlikely. 8 inch falls under Hasbro's license. They've shown no interest in revisiting that style after the poor sales of the Marvel Signature Series several years back. It probably would also be a scale conflict with the successful 6 inch Black Series. I don't see it happening.

The Unleashed stuff did okay. Wasn't that 8"? Could have sworn I heard a rumor Hasbro was going to bring it back. But that was a couple years back.

I agree...and I think NECA is the best choice for SO many reasons. NECA, IMHO, appears to have the resources, the quality production and the toy biz big property experience that'd make their investment (huge, I'm sure) come back as significant profit.
