I finally got around to picking up some Steve Goalgetter stuff and I noticed on the box it says "A Wiggins Teape Product." I really hadn't noticed it in the Mego catalog.

Who is Wiggins Teape? I tried a quick google search and got some info on what seems like a pretty big paper manufacturer.

Did they have a relationship similar or even the same as Palitoy?

From what I can suss out, WT at one point had a pretty busy toys and game side to their business. It eventually folded as they seem to be just office supplies now.

It is another Palitoy/distributor relationship. It was not uncommon to have several companies at once distributing Mego lines, especially the ones Palitoy passed on.

In Canada, Parkdale Novelty passed on the Micronauts, Grand Toys picked it up.
