I'm going to be spending a couple of days in Boston soon and was wondering if anybody knew of any cool places with toys, vintage or otherwise. I am familiar with Newbury Comics and will be stopping by there.
Go to New England comics in Quincy, it located right in Quincy center square, there is a parking garage right behind it and it's
free parking on weekends. There is an Asian guy who owns the place and his name is Tom, very nice guy, he's been there
since I was a teenager so were talking 30 years plus, they have pretty much everything, old and new comics, action figures
mego repros, figurines, etc etc etc. I think you will like it, he usually has about 3 other people working with him.
There is a store called Comically Speaking in Reading, MA outside Boston. I went there many times while working in Boston. He had comics, toys, statues, gaming - the works. As far as I know it's still there.

Newberry Comics is barely a comic shop, mostly cd's and pop culture things. New England Comics is a chain that has big comic sections, old, new they have it all and most modern action figure lines. Their Brockton store, run by Nate, has a large action figure wall with some vintage Marvel and Star Wars toys.. For vintage toys there's not much. On Sunday's there's a flea market in Raynham hat has a few guys with some older stuff not necessarily Megos.
