I always thought The mego Superman head looked a little like Dick Dillon's version from the JLA.

I love this wave, too--I'm thinking I need a Daily Planet playset of some sort with a LaserMego desk and a Telephone Booth changing-chamber.

Yes, an excellent plan. Obviously not as popular, but I would love to see super versions of Jimmy like Flamebird, Elastic Lad, Turtle Boy, and maybe Lois as Superwoman( Action Comics #60), as well.

I'm very impressed with these, Perry White was a nice surprise to see, glad they went with him
instead of Superboy which was pictured on the wave 1 series card, love the Lois look as well,
wonder if they will add a pen and pad set for her and a camera for Jimmy? summer 2015

I remember back in 2006 the DC Direct Silver Age Superman wave with

Robot Superman- opening S emblem to reveal electronics inside and Beepo the Supermonkey!

Perry White with mini Daily Planet building and newspaper!

There had been a 2001 DC Direct Silver Age Superman/ Lois 2-pack and 2002 Superboy/Supergirl with Krypto and Streaky! And a 2006 DC Direct Unmasked Clark Kent w/ removeable glasses and shirt! A 2005 1st Appearance Composite Superman, 2008 Showcase Presents Curt Swan Superman w/ 3 extra red kryptonite altered heads, and 2010 History of DC Universe Silver Age Brainiac and Superman as Nightwing!

That's only DC Direct Silver Age Superman figures I remember! Hopefully, FTC can make MORE!

Lois looks like the 82 Style Guide art by Jose Luis Garcia Lopez (Praise Be His Name). Which was obviously influenced by Margot Kidder's look in the first film.



These look great. I hate to say it, but I wish they'd update the Clark Kent at some point. Give him a proper blue or white fedora, and a nicer suit. Maybe even a new Curt Swan headsculpt for Supes AND Clark.

I like these figures. However, it still looks like they're struggling with the head size issue.
