Had some email issues this morn, here's your news. Don't worry, the preservatives we use give it the half life of a Twinkie. https://mailchi.mp/4692f7bb45e5/ruh-...s?e=ce704b24aaComment

Another great newsletter and I always look forward to the customs pictures which never disappoint.
I thought this Tomland eBay moc was a bit strange as this is the second auction that the seller has resisted this item - https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Rare-Toml...cAAOSwk-JdsFLY
Either the seller has had some really bad luck with the 2 Mummy figures they've tried to sell or there's something odd going on with these listings.

I cannot wait to see how the Redbeard's Ghost turns out.
Some great customs, just sorry that this weeks Svengoolie didn't offer up a chance to do decent ReMegos. Some weeks a great while others are just flops...Visit my wiki site:

Great news about the new bodies being used on new FTC figures going forward. Hope to get some reissues of their older product with the new bodies too.Comment

Good news on the FTC, Castaway, and White Elephant front! Feels like a response to Mego's return, especially their announcement of bandless bodies. If so... GOOD! All the better for us collectors.
The big thing with FTC and the Type S will be how they handle the neck plugs. Will new releases have the separate neck plug? Will re-releases have modified heads? Because many of the current heads have neck plugs that are too small as is for the Type S; they fall right out the body. Will they have a new foot that is pegged for the hero boots, or develop hero boots specifically for the Type S? Same for the hero gloves, because the pegs for those are too small for the Type S wrist/forearms.
This is so exciting because, for me, FTC has mostly excelled with costumes and clothing, and the head sculpts have been mostly above average to excellent. It's the bodies that have killed my enthusiasm for so many of their figures. If they can adapt the Gracie body for future female figures in their line-up -- no more hunchback figures -- it's really going to make me excited for their product again.Comment

glad to hear FTC is going to integrate the new bodies into the figure lines. Gives me hope that Lynda Carter's WW will look good. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

I can see this really taking off, especially for the female figure. I have always hated the hunch backed modern female body, and I usually try to get my hands on the roof speed female; on account of it simply stands up straight!
The neck plug on the female is easy; Brian leitner sells modified plugs that simply have a notch that has been cut into it with a dremel. All they have to do is follow his lead, and we can switch heads as we please.
Okay, I know it won’t be anywhere near that easy. But it’s a start.JediJaidaComment
