Thank you so much for putting out such a great newsletter! This has been a difficult year in many ways, but my spirits are always lifted Fridays with the newsletter. What you do is appreciated, and much needed.Comment

Really great newsletter. The tributes hit me. Even though I only knew some through passing in forums they were people that I had interacted with pretty regularly. I didn’t even know enyawd72 had passed. I guess I missed it.
That said, I found this tribute not necessarily sad as many of these things sometimes tend to be to me. It was uplifting in a way. Reminding us of good friends and how we should embrace the time we have together in a meaningful and positive way.
Nice work.Comment

Thank you both; your feedback means a lot. I sincerely mean that.
It bothers me that we're at this stage but hopefully, we'll remember them by embracing the best of them.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

great newsletter as always. I loved the tributes. it's a sad fact that we are getting to that age, though they all were far too young to leave this world. Your opening statement was well written and thought out. I have also been seeing all the negativity about the Marvel/Disney thing and while I understand the frustration, at the end of the day these are just toys and are mean to bring joy, not anger and resentmentComment

Appreciate that and I agree about the toys bringing joy concept. I can't defend the mess that Disney did but also, I'm not sure it's worth this much aggression.Places to find PlaidStallions online: https://linktr.ee/Plaidstallions

Very good newsletter. The FF display grabbed me--it has good customs, and I liked the addition of Franklin and Thundra.
I appreciated the links to the prototype features. I think Joanie actually looks well done compared to the other secondary HD guys. Regarding the proto-Andorian, his boots look like hand-cast Mego Merry Men boots.WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.Comment

Love the Trek Aliens prototypes, the Talosian would of worked if it was done in white instead of yellow, but they probably thought at the time, white would get dirty to quick, same idea with Shazam cape. Happy Days Joanie actually looks pretty good, but I doubt it would have done well at the toy stores. I think the Happy Days line was aimed towards girls like the Waltons line, only Fonzie would have sold well with both boys and girls.Comment
