Mego would have put it on a midget Hulk body, otherwise I bet a 70s version would have looked a lot like this.

Love the swamp thing headsculpt but I was hoping for something more innovative than a real tree printed suit. You must try to generate happiness within yourself. If you aren't happy in one place, chances are you won't be happy anyplace. -Ernie BanksComment

Is Swamp Thing on a new 9” body or something? If so, that’s pretty interesting. Or is it the Hulk body? I might be confused by what I’m seeing.Last edited by CrimsonGhost; Oct 23, '20, 8:28 AM.Expectation is the death of discovery.Comment

I think FTC actually improved the run of these bodies… the original Grodd I received was a complete mess of mismatched parts, and when I contacted them, they sent a replacement body that was constructed differently. The purple monkey came with the revised version too. I wouldn't have picked this for Swamp Thing for the best proportions, but it's also not the worst option (anymore) in their product line.Comment

A lightbulb just went off in my declining minds and I emailed Anthony to see which body it will be. I'll share his response once I have it.Comment

Swamp Thing looks amazing, and I always love the customs... but somebody needs to explain to me the 1979 ad! Is there actually a line of army vehicles out there in Super Joe / Mego scale, and if so, how hard are they to find for sale on the interwebs?Comment
