Some believe this, others don't. Either way you stand on the issue, it's a legitimate and desirable variant.

In my humble opinion there are two types. I think the ones where the stitching is yellow are legit; I think the ones where the stitching is green are nice, uniform fades. Both of the yellow Aquamen I have owned have been fades where the stitching stayed green. My guess is that there was an initial run before someone said "Hey, Robin's suit is green" and then the yellow fabric got shelved until it was time to put cuffs on Shazam. I was always convinced they were all fades until I came across the yellow stitching. While it's possible the thread faded too, it seems unlikely to me that there would be a suit out there where both the thread and the fabric faded perfectly uniformly.

Yes, there have been but I also believe there is one pictured in a Mego catalog, thus sparking much debate. I'm a fan of the two types theory.

it would be cool to see him on a type 1 body.

I love how they rotated that stock Spiderman clip art to make it look like he was unfurling a ton of superhero merchandise. How did he fit all of that in one hand?

And was that the original open to the Georges Reeves Superman show? Superman "stands for truth, justice and... SALES!"

Neat my superfriends display made the newsletter! As far as Robin, I've been selective with the re-issues but I like the idea and the limited run makes look like a "buy" for me.
