I am THRILLED that they are doing these....BUT... If you are going with an accurate Robin Head Sculpt for this group why wouldn't you do the rest, Batman's Cowl Need the Black and Blue contrast as well as a bigger chest emblem, Wonder Woman needs to have boots and not a silk screened stripe running down the red AND SHE STILL NEEDS TO BE ON A BETTER BODY, I love Shazam and are glad they are doing a more accurate outfit but where are Green Lantern and Flash!!! This just looks like they are trying to sell off excess stock on some new outfits... Sell me the outfits at this point FTC because I can put them to use on better bodies!!!

Hoping these were just for show at this point and the end result will be better than this!
This isn't the "Super Friends" line that goes with the Robin that was shown a couple of weeks ago. It is a Justice League extension or variant of the World's Greatest Heroes line. The Super Friends characters will match up with Robin, I'm assuming.

The Aquaman and Green Arrow updates are my favorites in that lot.

It's no mystery to anyone on these boards that this company wants to maximize their profits. That being said, I'm sure we can all look forward to seeing more Wonder Woman pajama pants variants. what I don't understand is why the drawstring is on her arm instead of her waist. I actually like some of the upgrades on these figures. Hopefully they will correct the logo sizes on Batman and Captain Marvel's chest. I just wish FTC would sweeten the pot by offering more accessories like a Batarang, trident, punch glove arrow, JLA logo printed on sleeveless vest, or maybe a mego sized Red Lobster food menu.
I post in thy general direction!

Personally I think that if you were to replace these six figures with the six same DC superheroes which were released by Mattel, under the Retro DC Superheroes line, and place them on these new FTC cards, they would look 100% better.

PLUS, with the Retro DC line, you all ready have Green Lantern and The Flash, which you can add!

I'm pretty sure that is her magic lasso.

Not really to exciting for me. I don't see much of a surprise for this figures seeing as they've already produced them all. Except of course for the minor variations.

It's great that FTC is gung-ho abou making re-megos but I would love to see them explore different character realms a bit more than what they've been doing.

I would have whited out Batman's eyes but, other than that, I think they look nice.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

Overall I don't mind that they re-release figures with minor variants. Really FTC is the modern equivalence of Mego:

                  - Grab as many licenses that you can that make sense from a financial / profit point of view
                  - Evergreen the popular characters. (Mego sold Spider-Man, Superman, etc. for many years but changed the lineups of the minor characters).
                  - Have running changes to figures and packaging.

The only difference is that Mego did it as just normal business practice whereas FTC is more obvious and embracing it. I think its great they are keeping Mego characters from getting stale by changing them up every year.

One really has to look closely because at first glance--and before I looked at the picture of full figures and cards in clamshell--it looks like repackaging of the same old thing. I had to come to the site here because when I looked at it on the phone hours ago, I just assumed it was the same figures with Justice League cards. I like that we're seeing something compared to the no-picture, no prototype Scooby-Doo of last week, but it's almost hardly a declaration of anything new. Same sculpts with minor tweaks. The customizers on the board do a better job. That's ok, I will buy what I like and don't have to buy variants or have to like everything FTC does. I agree with some others: I'd like to have seen a more concerted effort to entice me to buy another hero that I already own, a new head sculpt along with the proper accessories might have done that for me. I'm sorry, but they look kind of half-butt re-costume-ing attempts to me, I realize cost is factored into these sort of things, but greater attention to details matter on modern re-Mego. I mean, they're great for a new newbie, but there's not enough meat for this fan to collect them all. I eagerly await next week's announcement. I'm hoping for BM 66 or Super Friends prototypes or something entirely new.

They look okay, some better then others, didn't know Shazam was a JL member? I think the Flash would have been
a better choice, Shazam's chest bolt seems to big, Batman's chest logo seems to small, they did though if you noticed
that Superman's belt now has the red loops and not all solid yellow. I'll probably pick up Arrow and Aquaman, I already
have the FTC series one Superman, but without the red loops, don't know if I want to spend the money just because
                      those were added.

It's not what I was expecting to see. However, I think these updated versions of the Mego classics look really good, overall.

I'm not a super fan of this Wonder Woman, but I guess it's keeping her megoy (sp?)...?

Very nice, love the updated Mego look,I was kinda hoping that Wonder Womens updated look would have a Mattel
type outfit & Lasso, with The mego WW head rather then Supergirl head, the top Photo looks more like the
classic mego head, but the carded picture is clearly supergirl.Ill be getting all of these for sure.Shazam does have
a bit of the tv look with the white cape & and huge emblem.-love them, but where are all the Pre-sales & dates
for all these great new lines?.

I agree. Those heads wither suits would really work.

Other than not adding orange scales to Aquaman's marigold shirt, I like these. For me, it's like Mego "plus."
WANTED: Dick Grayson SI trousers; gray AJ Mustang horse; vintage RC Batman (Bruce Wayne) head; minty Wolfman tights; mint Black Knight sword; minty Launcelot boots; Lion Rock (pale) Dracula & Mummy heads; Lion Rock Franky squared boots; Wayne Foundation blue furniture; Flash Gordon/Ming (10") unbroken holsters; CHiPs gloved arms; POTA T2 tan body; CTVT/vintage Friar Tuck robes, BBP TZ Burgess Meredith glasses.

interesting that they are doing tweaks as opposed to straight up repros. Shazam's cuffs and cape is a nice touch.

Can't wait to see what new figures show up in the next wave! Really want to see what Green Lantern and Flash are going to look like in this Justice League line.
