Up Close: Snake Plissken by NECA

ECA’s recent move from horror films to science fiction has been a welcome one with fans of the Mego format. Their latest release is Snake Plissken from the 1981 hit “Escape from New York” (whose theme song hasn’t left my head since I got this guy in). There is a lot to see and talk about.

NICE! Now those are REALLY good pics. Wish my camera took them half that good. Thanks for posting! An easy favorite of mine.

Thanks, I really enjoyed this one and the figure itself.

Dang, that is nice. Not a huge mark for this film, but that's a nice figure!

Not a huge "mark"? You inside the wrestling business or something? A term we use all the time.

For $25.00, this figure is an amazing bargain. I can't believe that some folks on other boards are actually complaining about the likeness. It's actually a better likeness than the $160.00 Sideshow version.

Saw it up close today, and I agree, it is a great, detailed figure.

p.s.-There is a new album out this week of original music ("imagined soundtracks") by the great John Carpenter.

Get that album, put it on, and enjoy Snake's steely gaze!
