Well Brian, looks like I'll need to order another one. Lil D has taken a real liking to him. I think we can call the Cap a massive hit!

Got mine today as well and thoroughly love it! Great job guys. He will stand proudly next to his domestic partner in crime, Rocket Robinhood. I don't know if this has already been shown. But when the Captain was still a custom piece in 2013, he met up with Dr. Evil. Brick Mantooth came in at the last second to try and disco his way out of it. Our beloved Sam Noir was interviewed by the evil Doctor. You did a great job Sam!!

That you all, I'm absolutely still in awe of the outpouring of support and kind words for our labour of love in making Canuck. At the end of the day though, all Brian and I did was knock on doors in the neighbourhood here, asking our friends to come out and play with us. They did. We started a pick-up game, and were joined by the kids from the next street over, the Captain Canuck guys (who do it because they too, are fans). Now the whole neighbourhoods come outside to play, watch or cheer. You all are wonderful and you all are totally a part of this, banging the drum for us, buying figures, extra figures for friends/family, telling your friends about it and spreading the word. Thank you EVERYONE here.

It's been really emotional for me, in that hard to believe, overwhelming Field of Dreams kind of way.

    or like a Beer Commercial...

Yes! Thanks for bringing this up, I've been meaning to post a "How To" with pics.

Doc Mego's 2.0 clamshell's are more flexible, resilient and easier to cut, which I really like, and I'll give credit to Paul for giving us this awesome upgrade for Canuck (Sea Ghost has the same style of clamshell I believe?).

I've used a metal ruler and box cutter, and cut as close to inside the sealed portion to give it a nice even cut. If you have steadier hands than me, you can just as easily do it freehand with scissors as well, as long as you are cutting on the inside portion of the line where the plastic is fused together.

(I'll take pics and post later)

Got mine in today. LOVE IT!!! Thanks Brian, and to everyone involved!
My family is from Edmundston, New Brunswick, and as a kid, I vacationed there every summer. So I'm very familiar with Caption Canuck. A few of my MEGO's came from Woolworth while up there. I wish I still had those.

Any tips on the best way to open the package to keep it intact?

Another Dimension in Calgary gives the good Captain's figure a Shout Out in their new release video. Calgarians, go buy it here:

and I only just noticed that Brian chats with Earth2Chris and his wife Cindy about Canuck on the Supermates Podcast.

I was at the Snail in Toronto today and I literally walked into the big table with all the Captains!
Luckily, no one was there to witness my jibes and gambols.
The table was breathtaking but I had already spent too much.

Those pics are just amazing. I can't even fathom the feeling of pride and accomplishment that everyone involved in this project must be experiencing right now. That has to be the dream of dreams. Congrats to everyone! Can't wait to hold mine.

Thanks so much for posting pics guys. They are terrific.
Really dig seeing Canuck in there with Taylor, Rocketeer, Snake Plissken, and Back to the Future figures. We truly live in an age where all our dream figures are a reality now.

Tower of Canucks in Niagara is super cool as well.

I arrived at the Silver Snail Toronto early to snap some quick pics of the Canuck launch table before heading uptown for my signing at Paradise Comics (just my luck to be competing with my own event!) I believe Brian should be along tomorrow with pics during the event (and the flagship launch in Hamilton's Big B with creator Richard Comely.

Richard and Walter, the owner of Big B Comics have been AMAZING. They believed in our crazy idea, backed our play and stuck by us. For that we are extremely grateful and couldn't have asked for better partners. It's obvious that this was a shared dream. Big Shout Outs to all the other Captain Canuck players as well, including CCI honcho Fadi, and George, owner of the Silver Snail. In chatting with George today about his childhood Megos, he really is ONE OF US.

Nice pics! I visited Big B Comics' Niagara Falls store today and took some pics (my party pooper kids didn't want to come with me). So far I've been to this one and their Hamilton location, and these are really great stores, spacious, clean, organized and a friendly staff. I ended up buying some comic/magazine bags, boards and boxes there, in preparation for setting up at the GTA Comic-con in April.

My whole family welcomed Captain Canuck to Halifax this morning. Here's a few pics.

I ended up picking up a second one as a gift for my brother's birthday next month. When he saw the pics of him he said, and I quote, "He's made better than 90% of the mego's sold today, I want one!"

The head sculpt is quite simply ... perfect. Perfectly sized, perfectly Mego-esque, perfectly Canuck.

As I mentioned in private, this is an amazing figure for me. My inner 8 year old still can't grasp the awesomeness of being able to buy a Captain Canuck Mego style figure. The Captain Canuck fanatic in me is on cloud 9.

Amazing props all around to all involved. Drinks on me gents! You have made this guy very happy. He will easily be one of the most personally significant figures in my collection.
