    Up Close: Planet of the Apes Taylor by NECA

    NECA’s 8 inch Planet of the Apes is easily one of the most highly anticipated ReMego lines of the year for us. With it’s inaugural figure being Astronaut Taylor, a figure a lot of us have wanted since 1974, we thought it prudent to go over the figure and some of it’s unique design choices…

      That head sculpt is simply amazing.

        ^ Tools are not removable. It's a piece of vacuum formed plastic and then painted.

          It's just mind blowing how good that figure is. I'll definitely be getting one of these. Is it me or is 2015 already filling up fast with must-haves?

            No denying this is a fantastic figure, I was a bit Ewww with the feet at first, but I think it gives the figure a unique look, and actually dont mind it now.

                        I'll get it just for the headsculpt and backpack. They're great. It doesn't look like they put any effort into the flightsuit though - like the material is oddly fuzzy and see-through. But maybe that's the camera and I need to see it in person. Worst case, I'll just junk that and replace it.
                        One thing: It looks like the collar goes under the back of his hair and beard. Does that mean the head can tilt up and down? That'd be cool.
