      Great looking collection!

That carded Iron Man is certainly quite a find seeing how very rare they are.

Did this jump start collection go for over or under ten grand? Even if it was over, it was worth it!

Surely a Iron Man Moc is worth $15K on its own? Wheres Newforce when you need him.

no, thats not me. I'm a big fan of the smell of a fresh pair of Nike Air Jordans, thats addictive.

thanks for all the kind words, guys. i did order a bunch of cases for the boxed figs yesterday, worth the investment. not sure about how to safely put the TT figs, they're a really weird size. I'm also a bit nervous about putting the IM in one of those cheap star case things.

You got about $25,000-30,000 of megos there. Hope that helps with learning more about your investment.
                Ironman $15-20 k
                The rest $7-10k

                  Thanks for the estimate.

Is there a census as far as the fig population is concerned? I kept hearing that there "were only 4" of the IM's around. Can anyone clarify?

4 "known to exist" are far as know, with at least one being a reseal. This being not being from one of the four known ones would make 5, if that's still the case.

So give us some details on how you found the collection. You don't have to name names, or prices.....

A friend of mine that's a crazy collector asked me awhile back if I was interested in a collection of toys. They remembered that I had tried to do Megos years and years ago, somewhat unsuccessfully. I went to look at them, with cash in hand. As soon as they opened that first box with the boxed 8" figs, I knew I wanted them. I'll have to snap some closer pics. They're absolutely fabulous. I've bought a bunch of stuff from my friend over the last almost 20 years but this is maybe the coolest score.

When those boxes were opened, reminded me of this.

so, here are the tops to two random figs from my collection. they're all this good, look like they've never been opened. luckily, most of the price tags are on the bottom.
