Congrats to the winner! I may pick up this figure someday, it features a great likeness. I have watched the show, I kind like it for the weird Jonny Quest/Scooby Doo -like world. That is, I like the show, but I don't love it... I'm very conflicted on my feelings toward Mike Tyson, no question. I respect him for his amazing boxing legacy before it went up in flames. I kind of wish he had a better support group all his life. When the guy who took care of Tyson died, Tyson's life came apart. He might not have raped or got into trouble with drugs and he certainly would have done better in boxing as some of his documentary's show. That recent viral video of him getting mad on TV during an interview should have been a moment where he should have realized he's gonna get flack about his less than stellar reputation. I guess what I'm trying to express is, that situation could have gone differently in another life it could have gone down like this: ""Yes I'm a convicted felon and rapist," says Mike Tyson "I can never change that, but I have devoted all my spare time, fame, and much of my rebuilt finances into something truly important. I'm guided all my energy toward women shelter's, kid clubs, social work, and AA successfully."

I didn't want to create a new post just to show off a picture so I searched for this thread. Huh. I thought I had long ago written a follow up post commenting how I learned more details about Tyson's rape charge via the podcast Reasonable Doubt that sounds very much like he was innocent of the rape charge after all. I admit to not having any knowledge of the details of the rape allegation. I just thought back then: well, he has been physical with the ladies before and a jury convicted him so it must be a slam dunk case.

Anyway, I got a new Mike Tyson figure recently for $15 new shipped on eBay and just today received the wonderful [?] sticker from LaserMego so I thought I'd share. Thanks for the extra goodies too, Paul! I definitely need to collect and trade more of the various Plaid Stallion/MM cards I don't have one of these days. I hope BBP and EMCE produce the rest of the cast. Looks like the figure came out in 2014 so I hope the license lasts. I know Pigeon is out with a MT Astronaut variant, but I'd like to just buy the bird separately and the other Mystery team characters. Would be helpful to buy the different outfits separately like Captain Action than buy multiples of the same figure dressed in different outfits. I wrote Dr. Mego and asked if more were planned but never heard back. I think the MTM show is funnier than last season. I did like season 1 so that's not a knock. In fact, my wife had watched all of the final season of Venture Bros with me and got into it and now she no longer rolls her eyes with the MTM show, she, like me, laughs at a lot of the twisted humor. I don't watch other Adult Swim shows because I don't know what's good but I miss Venture Bros and really enjoy MTM now, which appears to have filled the void left by VB.
