Would it be possible to do scans of Mego playsets?

There are websites that has scans of all of the pieces from the Palitoy Death Star Playset, and other Star Wars playsets made mostly of cardboard that you can print out (there are also more playset, background, and sticker scans on that website). I'm thinking it could be possible to scan the pieces of the Planet of the Apes Fortress or Village, Batcave, or anything else mostly consisted of cardboard.

I actually a few years back made a high quality scan of the Bruce Wayne Headquarters cardboard backdrops at a commercial printing shop. They look nice.
