This book any good ?

As you may know Im new to the mego scene.
My speciality is action man and there seems a lot to learn about meeeeego

All I have so far is Starsky and Hutch, boxed Torino and a couple of heads.


So I bought this book....any good?

It is nice for lack of anything else. I'm guessing most people who have collected megos for a few years have it. Now that Ben's book is out, the WGSH section of that book is obsolete. It is basically a photo album of a super mego collector and please ignore the price guide - in most cases it is not even close and it can't begin to consider condition of figures.

Yeah, I agree. I had one of those and it's pretty much worthless now. Most of the shots show figures not fully accessorized and the prices were little more than guess work against what was really out there. By all means invest the money and get Ben's book. NOTHING will ever be a better source of information than his book. Truly a one of a kind.

I've never read it, but it was written by John Bonavita......
A true Mego collecting pioneer who really loves the hobby ...
It might not be up-to-date, but i'm sure it will be a good read.
Bonavita is Royalty in the Mego community.

Nice book but Ben's book is "the" Mego book.
