      Ahhh..

I thought this thread was going to be about all the junk and action features and packaging gizmos that come with action figures. -Batman Animated series and final few waves of X-men in the 90s come to mind as the worst offenders of stupid accessories.

The figures you listed are great. Pointless and great. Some like Chopper, Wheels.. serve a generic catch all purpose. Astronaut replaces a need for a license. Other like the super powers made up guys????? Or made up aliens when there were many characters to choose from in ST? Nothing like recycled parts.

Nice article! Not being overly familiar with Space 1999, I always assumed that Zython was from the show. But despite my new knowledge, and your less than glowing review, I still wish I could find one.

Sigh yes more needless Neptunian bashing. THEE Coolest spacy monster looking figure of the whole line and he gets NO respect. Sure he wasnt in an episode of Star Trek but he could have been.

Equally well he could have come to Earth to take on Super Man and his pals as an evil alien over lord.

He could have been a futuristic nuclear bred mutant from the Planet of the apes.

He could have done song and dance numbers on the Sony and Cher show.

He could have abducted Johnboy and ate Sue Ellens Brains.

The Possibility were endless.... Yet all any body does is bash him.
Lo there do I see my Father.
Lo there do I see my Mother and my Sisters and my Brothers.
Lo there do I see the line of my people back to the begining.
                  Lo they do call me.
They bid me take my place among them.

Great article. I never knew those guys were called Godzill'a Gang. I have all of them except Godzilla. They're my favorite toys next to my Megos and my Star Wars figures.

TOTALLY AGREE on the Neptunian ~ Besides the Andorian, he's probably the coolest looking alien in the Trek line. Can't wait to get one of those repos..

Useless..? How about the Ilia Trek figures.., both 3 and 12". What would you be able to do with her..? Except to help regulate Kirk's libido, practically nil.

Congress should approve of a nationally-funded landfill site, just for her.

Thanks guys, for the record, most of those figures on that list are from my own collection so it's not like I'm truly "bashing" anything, more poking fun of.

I bought a loose Neppy this past winter because I missed having one I could play with.
