Burlington Toy Show Nov 9th - Who's going?

    Hi

Just wondering who's coming to the Burlington Toy Show this Sunday? This one sorta creeped up on people I was talking to some non-mego museum guys and they totally missed signing up for this one.

    Dana,

I'll be setup at the show on Sunday and I believe I saw Sam mention on Facebook that he'll be there too.

Good to hear guys! Thought it might be a lonely day there. Marty I got a bunch more comics, I bought 20 long boxes last weekend.

Unfortunately I'm not able to set up for this one, but I'll try to swing by for a visit if I can. I'm in for the January show though.

Yeah, bumped into a bunch of folks today at Fanfare Geekfest today who said it snuck up on them as well. Might be a quieter day? Although it does sound like the usual Mego North gang with the Fitski Bros, UbermanX, Haggis and myself tabling (i'll assume they'll have us in a cluster as per usual), and Cjefferys and Palitoy popping by.

They were booking tables for January after Toycon/Mego North II in September, but at the 11th hour they added in this show for November (since no other toyshow was laying claim to the month oddly enough).

Note, they will be booking tables for January, but check your emails as well... they are planning a Kitchener show for New Years Eve! (I'm thinking of doing it with a stripped down set-up)

*sigh* A sick daughter and a wife at work meant I couldn't make it today. She's feeling a bit better now at least. How was the show, guys? Good turnout (dealer-wise and customer-wise)?

Never the same without you Chris! Especially our traditional lunch run.

With that said, had a great time today and even if it was a bit of a quieter show, it gave us more time just to chat and hang out one last time before the holidays and New Year.

Glad Palitoy was able to pop by (and saved me a drive out to his neck of the woods tomorrow). Terrific that Mrs UbermanX as able to join us this time. Also shout out to Mr UbermanX for gifting me a fun new customs tool. Big thanks to Haggis for looking out for my table as I constantly wandered away distracted by something or other. And I'm also enjoying my new status as an honourary Fitski Bros... my new handle is Zeppo Fitowski. 8)

Sorry you couldnt make it Chris! Hopefully we'll see you in January! Was a slightly different show with a few new vendors with some different stuff which was cool seeing. And I did pick up a brother! He likes Megos and draws really good! you can't get one of those at any old show!

Been there with the sick daughter, heck I'm there right now.

It was good seeing everybody, sorry i didn't linger. I was coasting on fumes and had to get back for a family function that was a good hour away. Looked like a good show, in hindsight I wish I had bought something. My kid turned $20 into a garbage bag of bionicles, so somebody was happy.

Welp, I had a good time as usual. Didn't buy that Action Comics #1 for $600,000 so the marriage is still intact.

One disadvantage of bringing along the Mrs. is I had to behave myself so I didn't get to participate in Fitzkiburgergedeon. Stupid Quinoa!

Sold a decent amount but to the usual regulars. Very little extra stuff sold. But again, it's more about having a good time chatting and visiting with everyone.
