Finding somthing extra from an auction

Isn't it great when you go to clean up a figure and you find something extra. It wasn't a big thing but when I was undressing a Batgirl I found Tarzan's knife in her boot. My Tarzan needs one so "Score".

The real question is, what exactly was Batgirl planning with that knife hidden in the boot? You may have just saved a life by removing it!

Good for you, that's awesome... I know exactly what you mean...years ago I bought a large GI Joe collection and as I was going through it....out popped an original RM Robin mask. I almost had the change my shorts after that.

I had a mixed vintage lot and found a knife in it that looked exactly like a planet of apes knife but had a black handle but made of rubber...
I post it on the forum to try identify it ...no one did ... I took the black paint off and sold it along with one of my spare general apes who had no knife explaining it was rubber....

since then I found out its a very tough rare dr who leela knife and i saw one sell for about £50 pounds on ebay :(

Instead I recently bought a MEGO lot of 25 minty WGSH figures (half customs half originals)...
I expected to sell the originals but for a series of reasons I discovered that all but one had costumes/colour/hair variations...so I kept them
In example:
MRF short sleeve variant
IG TORCH THING with nice NON-Zombie heads
Longer hair CONAN
SPIDERMAN with variant Spider on costume
CAPTAIN AMERICA dark blue head and Stitched belt
THOR with a variant vinyl cape I had never seen before

Years ago I won a loose Tarzan on ebay and when I got him, noticed there was a strange bump on his crotch area. I thought his pelvis was broken but when I undressed him inside was an ironman button with original sticker , great surprise as I needed one.

I never knew Tarzan and Iron Man were this close...
I can imagine Tony Stark calling Tarzan: "When you were cleaning up, you didn't happen to find my chest button, did you?"

And Sue Storm saying to Tarzan: "Is that an Iron Man accessory in your pants, or are you just happy to see me?"

Not an auction find although this Summer at the Flea market I attend I found a Soilder Ape glove out in the parking area just lying on the ground.. That was a weird find..

I bought a nice, complete Star Trek bridge playset at a flea market for $20 a looong while back, and wedged into a corner of the Transporter was a re-purposed little plastic accessory packet with 3 vintage phasers, two tricorders (with their straps cut off, unfortunately) a communicator and a belt!

There was one time when a kind person who I won an eBay auction lot of Japanese robot models from - that I didn't pay very much for - threw in an equal number of extra kits that were often rarer and nicer than the ones I paid for.
