Where can you still buy one of these, or are they all sold out?
Oh, quite the opposite. We're just working in conjunction with our partners in Canuck to properly launch the Captain with an aggressive PR campaign and event. It's a big milestone for the character, he turns 40 this year and he gets a figure that looks like it came out in 1975.
Having said that, our gracious partners are not worried about us doing a soft launch to the Mego community, so the Museum will get first dibs on the Captain.
Ed said it better than I could, it's been almost two years since he pitched the idea to me in McDonalds in Mississauga and it's been a real journey. I am grateful to everyone involved. When that pallet and a half arrived, i got my usual brand of worry and excitement.
I must say that the site of these guys is a bit overwhelming and that 40 years later i get to do this is very exciting.
Thanks to everybody for your help and support. Stay tuned for news.

Glad you like them. It took far too long to complete, although from speaking to other manufacturers, it seems that labor issues in China
were delaying everyone's products.
Ed and Brian, this is so great to see the fulfillment of your labor and the realization of a long-desired figure brought to life. I think this is probably my favorite of the entire re-mego revolution, both from a visual aspect and a personal one. Its just good to know good people can get this stuff done that was previously thought to not be possible. So Brian, you've published a book and released two action figures. The only thing left now is to record an album. I hear K-tel records is making a comeback...
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

Like them? I love them! Perfect figure, Doc, and I love that you guys went with the white body. Yeah, China can be a bit of a crap-shoot at times. I remember we were getting clothing from them one year and the factory closed for New Years holidays and when they came back, they were short staffed as some of the workers didn't bother returning, and it threw things way off schedule. Oh well, they are here now and that is the main thing!
Is this a one time thing, or have you plans to grow this? I could see Canadian based retailers being interested in a line like this.
Either way, this is a Herculean task. My hats off to you all!
Wow, he looks great there amongst your collection!
