So it's not one of the pre-orders that's delayed in China? That's frustrating, I don't know what to tell you.

I appreciate your concern in the matter, however this seems to be an ongoing problem.

I've found many similar situations posted thougout several threads about his "questionable business practices", here. I also see lots of posts that he is a great guy...yadda, yadda, yadda; but I can't help but wonder if he ever makes good with other people who have complained about similar situations.

It's difficult for those of us who have been ignored to keep quiet when we see he posts here, updates his store site and continues to do "business".

Ummm... get it right, he was flirting with the cute hostess, and taking numbers and stuff. Also, he is apparently doing some sidework writing for Penthouse Forum, so he must be busy, and very much alive.

I really dont think it was the cutest ones, And it sounds like only his friends get there stuff in a timely manner. The rest of us just donate money to the store and someday get stuff. Three months, a year later. I am surprised this thread lasted this long.

Well...I got a bug up my b*tt, just over the principal of situation. I'm gonna be a noisy MF until it's resolved.

I keep hearing from others here that, new people always get screwed by Megostore and Mr. Joe, but he deletes their threads and blocks them from using this site to keep it under wraps. Not sure if that's true, but I'm hearing it, so I'm waiting to be deleted.

                        plaztekman-

What figure did you order? Knowing that would go a long way towards us knowing if your complaint is legitimate or not. As Scott mentioned some are pre-orders and not available yet.

As for what people tell you about how the Museum handles these situations, it's not entirely true, although there are elements of truth in it. There have been complaints about the Megostore that have been removed. There have been plenty more that sit out and never get deleted. Joe himself leaves them there. The ones that get deleted usually contain posts that go beyond stating the problem and get into name calling and childish behavior. Usually, not always. Sometimes they get removed because the situation got resolved. Sometimes they just get pulled because we don't want the museum to become the Megostore complaint department. But more often than not, they sit there forever for all to see and search for. So before you believe what some want to say, consider that.

NO ONE, I repeat, NO ONE get's blocked from this site because of a complaint they made against Megostore. Anyone telling you that is full of it. Joe's a big boy and can take care of his own battles. That's not to say you can't or wont get banned because of your behavior in a conflict on this board. You have commented on your situation, and that is totally fine. It can even be viewed as being a responsible member of the collecting community. However, if you cross the line and start constantly hammering this issue all over the boards everyday, well, we call that spamming and we have removed some "noisy MF's" for that.

I'm defending the boards here and the actions of the administration. Not Megostore and the details of your transaction. Some people think the Museum should "do something" about these complaints. We're careful not to step in. It's not our fight and we have no wish to become referees in peoples transaction difficulties. Don't take me wrong. I'm not saying you don't have a legitimate gripe, I don't know the other side of things enough to say either way, I'm just saying don't go blaming the MegoMuseum or making our playground your battleground because you have a beef with another member.

You've stated your side of things. You've informed your fellow collectors of what you feel was a bad transaction. You've done your bit. Everyone's seen it, I'm sure Joe's probably seen it. Now the rest is between the two of you.

Thank you Dave, very well said.

FYI, Joe is travelling today and hasn't seen any of this. He kinda picked the wrong day to be away from his computer.

Well, I agree with you completely, Dave. I've learned that MegoMuseum and the Megostore are not related. I did not know this until today. Joe's profile and store info are quite misleading to a newcomer. I've chatted with several other members who were under the same impression.

Had I known this prior, I would never have brought my complaint to the message boards.

I truly apologize for the inconvenience.

I too have seen complaints about this over time but I don't know, Joe must really like me or something because all of my orders arrived within a two-week timeframe. I never had to wait long.

As I said, posting a bad transaction to inform other members of potential problems dealing with a seller is okay. But it sounded like you were ready for war here, so I just wanted to clear that up.
