Yes, this is going to be great. Looking forward to getting Zan and Jayna! I am surprised they went with a new body instead of using a child body. This looks more accurate but I would have been okay with either.

cool to see them doing some new body sculpts, if Space Ghost is on the horizon they could repurpose that for Blip

Really like the prototype sculpt! My concern with any great sculpt, is scale. All too often, small characters are done oversize to keep the character at a certain price point. "We can't charge $25 for a 3 inch figure. Make him 7 inches tall."

IMO the solution is in the accessories. Done in the correct scale, with correct accessories, While maintaining "price point". The bucket of water for Zan seems great to me. Jayna on the other hand, is probably the most important choice to make here. Trick here is to lower Gleek to accessory level* and make up for it with an eagle/Jayna. The collectors will love it for it's scale, and FTC can justify the price point.

*I fear any cloth costume scale will be far too large. Going the action figure style on Gleek, (with painted on outfit) seem to me, to be the wisest choice.

What does the Mego community think? Oversized doll, or correct scale accessory character?

painted outfit would be a mistake. Given that its basically a nekkid monkey with no sculpted clothes, a cloth costume is probably on its way.

I have no idea, but maybe the Wonder Twins will be a two pack that includes Gleek. I would think that you would need all of them together. One doesn't really work without the other(s), but I could be wrong.

Given the absence of clothes on Gleek I think it more accurate to say "in like Larry Flynt"!
Looking for redhead AJ heads (or figures) - both bearded & clean shaven (I'm trying to complete all the variations).
Also seeking: 1 blue Soldier Ape glove, 1 General Ape boot, sun reflector from PotA Fortress playset.

This is what I was thinking as well, Ian. Probably would be a package deal.

I'm wondering if he'll be re-painted and added to the Tarzan line?

Last I heard it will be one Wonder Twin per assortment of four Super Friends. That could change obviously between now and the time they reach distribution.
