Wonderful pictures. Some great stuff. If we added comics to Mego Meet we'd have to have it Thursday - Sunday.

The show was a blast and it was all because of the great people involved.
Sold enough to pay for all my purchases which is a bonus. I picked up way too many cool items to highlight just one ... Captain Canuck approval prototype, The Narrator, Black Canary and Rocket Robin Hood customs, comics, etc. Many thanks to all my friends for the deals.
I even got a cupcake from Wolverine
Truly an awesome time ...

The Toys are super cool as always, very cool customs, great selection of ReMegos at great prices, nice vintage stuff and oddities on display.
However, it's hanging out with friends (old and new) that makes this the best. I'm especially appreciative of being able to relax afterwards at dinner and converse. Sometimes you are so caught up with the hustle and bustle of the toy show, that it's really nice to sit and chat without all the distractions. As much as it's great to interact online with Chris, Aaron, Brian, Andrew, Dana, and Martin, under our screen-names, there is no comparison to actual face-time.
What has also astonished me as well, is the number of Mego-friends we've grown at the show who are not on the boards with us... including Dana's brother Tony, Kevin, Dan (who now buys one of almost every custom I do) and many others who make a point of stopping by our tables at every show. Plus all the Lurkers who have introduced themselves to us in the past year!
Last time Godzilla and his family won the prize for most distance travelled, this time we had the pleasure of meeting an awesome gentleman from Montreal, Rosaire, and his lovely wife. Hopefully he'll be joining the Mego Museum forums soon to start trading cards.
Congrats to Brian on the AMAZING exclusive... I know it was a dream come true, and Vincent turned out beautifully (shout out to Martin from DD!).
and I really wish I could have participated in the High Score contest that Dana organized... what a great idea. The vintage arcade was a wonderfully nostalgic step back in time.Last edited by samurainoir; Sep 9, '14, 12:13 PM.Comment

We should also give a HUGE shout-out to promoters Steve and Paula, who always go above and beyond for us, particularly this time, by having us head-line the event!
Just a friendly reminder... next UNOFFICIAL Mego North gathering is January 18th.
(same show as the first Mego North)
Everyone books their own table (if you want to have a table) and just let them know that you want to be grouped in the Mego Museum/North cluster.
