Mine started when I pulled out old Bats and said - "I wonder if someone online has some replacement oven-mitts to fit this guy. I mean if I am going to keep him he should be complete right???..."
The rest is happily now my hobby.
Besides I am sure sewing custom suits will really pay off when one of my friends cuts himself while we're out camping. "Oh sure, you laughed at me for sewing doll clothes, but look at you now...all bloody and crying with that silly scratch on your arm. Now you probably want me to stitch it up????? Well forget it!!" I'll say, and then do it anyway."
