In a move that will prove very popular NECA announced an 8″ Retro Planet of the Apes figure line by unveiling the one character every Mego Apes fan doesn’t have, Col. George Taylor. If that weren’t enough, he’s got a nice bag of goodies too!

They just need to clean up the stitching on his suit and he's perfect!

This is great to see... I hope they do a "prisoner" version... I'd say a clean shaven version would be in order too, but I wouldn't want the line to become too heavily based on every imaginable version of Taylor: I'd rather see them limit the variations on him so they can do more of figures of other characters...

Very......very thrilled with this reveal. I hope Neca discloses the details of the whole line soon. Now if only EMCE/Diamond would get back on the Star Trek retro bandwagon, the ReMego world would be absolutely perfect between these, FTC and the upcomong Marvel releases.
