Is it weird that I kinda like the Ledy Aquaman's head sculpt better than Mego's?

Also, is the "A" symbol just a sticker on a standard Robin type belt, or is that molded in plastic?

I passed up on a lily ledy Aquaman at a show for $12. My reasoning at the time was he's was incomplete. :banghead

Ledys are very rugged in the chin department.

        (I think it's a belt sticker, Chris.)

Love the Ledy Aquaman! And yes, it is a sticker on a standard Ledy Superman/Robin/Shazam belt.

Vintage Mego of the Day: the Munchkinland Play Set from Wizard of Oz. The movie was a Thanksgiving tradition in the 70s, so it seems fitting for today.

I've always thought that Palitoy artwork was some of the best packaging...

^^^ Ah! Great memories here. Santa delivered several Action Jacksons during Christmas 1972. The ski outfit was one of them. It's interesting I have two pictures of me holding my Action Jackson figures that Christmas morning with pride. It's pretty neat that I have a documented record of me and Mego's during that first year they came on the market prior to the superheroes.

^You need to post those here Tom. We want to see them!

A redhead AJ in this outfit would make a super-easy custom of the GI Joe: RAH character Snow Job.

I have this outfit now for my AJs. But I remember for Christmas of '72 (when I thought I lost my AJ) I received another black AJ, snowmobile outfit and the (chemical) firefighter outfit (that was quickly turned into an astronaut). My dad found my other AJ behind the couch, and YAY!, both AJs were were dressed in their new outfits for Christmas.

I'll definitely do that tonight brotha. I have to wait on my wife or daughter to get home because they have camera phones that pick up every grain of detail (unlike mine). That way you can see which figures I'm holding with pride.

AJ was a gateway drug to Megos as a kid. I have great memories of shopping at our local Danners 5 and dime with my grandparents for sets like that.

I had the blue ski outfit, Green Arrow rocked out it a while. Actually 70% of the mego heads look better than AJ's mug on the outfits.
