Who Is The 12" Mego Expert Here?

I looked through the Mego Museum for the 12" Super Hero figures. I found Batman & Robin, Superman, The Hulk, Captain America, Spiderman, and Wonder Woman. Were there others?

How common are the 12" figures?

I had the opportunity to buy a Robin, but his face was a ghastly Zombie grey-green. Is that a common problem?

green zombie is common on alot of figures by mego depends on which one's your asking about. I don't think I've seen too many large Robins with green heads though.

I would say the 12" mego's are overall rarer than the 8" mego but they are not as sought after so you can get them at fairly good prices if your patient enough and wait out a few ebay auctions.

Let's see, three different Batmans, Robins and Spider-mans (not counting packaging variations), two different Supermans; Hulk, Cap, Wonder Woman (2 variations), Jor-El, Luthor, General Zod, and three others in the WW line (Steve Taylor, Nubia and Queen Hippolyte (sp?) ) . I think that covers them.

As jemboy says, they are less common than the 8 inchers (some, like the 9" Robin and "non-magnetic Magnetic" Batman and Robin are downright rare) but most are reasonably priced due to them not being as widely collected as the 8" figures.

Grey faces are possible for some of the above but rare; much, much less commonly seen compared to some other Mego 12" lines like Black Hole, Star Trek or Moonraker.

I have the complete set of Star Trek 12" both boxed and loose including a few odd box variants.
Capt. Kirk: "Is there anyone on this ship, who even remotely, looks like Satan?"
Mr. Spock: "I am not aware of anyone who fits that description, Captain"
Capt. Kirk: "No, Mr. Spock, I didn't think you would be"

Some of the 12" are pretty common, others very elusive.

It depends on the Robin that you saw, the Magnetic Robin isn't that hard to find but the 10" Canadian/UK release is much more difficult.

I've got a non-magnetic Batman, so I'd want the same in a Robin.

The one I turned down was a 10 incher. Too bad....

Yeah, that one is a real toughie! Too bad he had a grey face though.

if the 10" robin had a good costume ect. I would go back and try to get it. The head isn't a common part to come accross, but if it had the other parts it would be worth you sitting on it and waitting for a head.

I've been looking for one shoe for the 10" robin off and on for a few years and have come up empty handed.

I personally preffer the skinny bodied versions of the 12" heros, not quite sure why but something about them screams 70's to me.
