BBP Announces 3 3/4 Inch KISS, FTC Promises 18….

Our worlds continue to collide as we get an announcement today that BifBangPow will bring KISS 3 3/4″ figures to market (along with their usual assortment of collectibles such as barware and stationary) while Figures Toy will continue it’s own line of KISS figures, including blockbuster 18″ figures. Here’s the Press Release with all the…

I have to admit that I'm kind of intrigued by 3 3/4" KISS figures.

that press release is written like the 8" and 12" FTC figures have never come out.
      Fresh, not from concentrate.

That is a strange press release. They seem to have taken the Figure Toys quotes from a couple of years ago.

I guess Biff Bang Pow is all-in on 3 3/4", which will save me some money, since I don't care about that scale.

Very excited for the 3 3/4" KISS! Also the present release did make it sound like FTC was re-releasing all the KISS lines for ToysRUs. I doubt that's the case, though. Maybe they start w/ Alive figures!

What makes this interesting news (and why that press release sounds repetitive) is because FTC has landed a nationwide deal with TRU to sell these figures. So for the general public this will be news. I get the impression the 18 inch figures will be bigger versions of the original Mego figures they initially did in this line. That will be fun to see how they come out. I'm having a little more of a wait and see attitude about the 3 3/4 inch KISS figures. To me, those have kind of been done already through K'Nex. So while there will clearly be some differences, I'm not sure the differences will be THAT obvious to make me jump. For me it will depend on the detail. If they come out looking like the Funko lines, that will be an easy pass.

K'Nex? So they're coming out with Lego style Kiss figures as well?

I agree it is a weird press release all around. It took me a few minutes to figure out what the big news was, Brian had to direct me to the 3 3/4" news, and the FTC stuff is outdated. Didn't they promise the 18" figures earlier?

Those have been already released. Spotted them last fall at Target.
You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

WAY down for some 3 3/4" KISS figures. Hope they are retro style!

If the 3 3/4" KISS figures look as good as BBP's Twilight Zone figures, I'm all in. They would have to come out like like the Funko figures for me to lose interest.

I'm only interested in 8" KISS from Figures Inc. and even then, I don't feel the need to buy them all. The 12" don't interest me, and 18" is just absurd...

They pretty much have to, Funko really missed the mark. BBP's 3 3/4 Twilight Zone look great.
