Body types FAQ?

Say I'm a newbie and I just dialed up the MM site.. where exactly could I look to see and understand the difference between Type 1 & 2 bodies? Kind of like a body FAQ.. and maybe what figure was made with what body at what time, etc.

I know in the Trek galleries there's discussion about body types and which head style was made with what body, and that's been helpful. But I don't see a museum section that addresses the basic Mego bodies, and I when I look at some of the Gallery entries for some of the WGSH, I don't see any body type discussion at all.. more a concentration on packaging.

Obviously this kind of thing is common knowledge to a regular museum visitor, but I just found myself wanting to look at a type 1 vs. type 2 body display, and I can't seem to find anything. Am I just overlooking it? Lil' help? Thanks!

There is some discussion of body types used in each line and reproductin bodies related to the lines in Accessory Check.

Click a line and the index page for that line appears with a list of body types for that line, with photographs of the bodies and pictures of the modern made factory replacements available.

Also, CustoMego has a resource that pictures most Mego bodies in comparision to other similar bodies of the time period and more modern bodies of the same scale.
