    Mego repair question

I have a Green Arrow quiver that has a broken belt at the quiver. is there a way to repair this or should I just go with a Dr. Mego repo?

You can try certain glues found at Home Depot. I used vinyl and a loc-tite. Can't remember which worked best. It can hold, but it's not invisible. The quivers were just horrendously designed.

You may be better off using a clear band that comes wrapped around most new toys. Those will blend in.

So it's broken where the belt joins the actual quiver?
That's a tough spot to fix.
How about putting a thin strip of plastic or cloth as a "liner" against the back of the belt and quiver, like a bridge across the break, so when you glue it all together, the liner holds the two pieces together. And as it's in the back, you'll see very little of it.

Even with the damage, I'd still prefer an original to repro. It's battle-damaged but authentic!
