I recently acquired bruce wayne heads by Doc Mego, Classic Tv Toys, and original mego. The CTVT heads seem to be smaller. When I put Batman's cowl on, it was very loose as opposed to a doc mego Bruce Wayne head or a mego BW head. Has anyone else noticed variations like this? Should I just expect it like that from now on?

I think most CTVT's items run a bit smaller then Mego or Doc Mego stuff.
Even the CTVT's bodies are a bit smaller then a classic Mego or a Doc Mego repro.

It's just their thing (CTVT's, that is)

Ok. Well, now I know. I ended up adding inside padding to the cowl to make it fit. Thanks!
