Heroes in Action announces Cosmic Raiders

These will work great for Ghostbusters, Star Trek or add more monsters to your Castle Transylvania without breaking your budget. Remember that the originals were not made to last with there blown hollow bodies. I remember getting a few of these back in the day and I switch the the bodies as soon as I got home.

The only problem I have is the outfit. I am not to thrilled with the "layered" sewed outfit. I would have rather had a screen-print outfit but that is my opinion.

Plus fake-wookie is also named "Flash", so that pretty much puts the nix on that from all angles.

What happened to the other ten Presidential Monsters that were shown well over a year ago? They showed Yeti Roosevelt, but what about:
Eisenhowler, Jacksferatu, Van Palin, Hillvira, Spirit of '76, Algore, Martian Van Buren, Romney the Robot, Benjamin Franklinstein?

That is true, it's very slow going.
But I think they'll get there eventually, even if it takes a couple of years.
The Presidential Monsters is a very odd concept (which I like), but not really a "sure seller" with a solid target audience.
The Raiders, on the other hand, are space aliens, which seems to me to be an easier sell...

The more I see these figures, the more I like them. I think the new bodies look great and fit in with vintage figures flawlessly. Tomland had some very interesting repaints with the glow in the dark heads so there are so many possibilities for this new line! The old figures while they looked great had limited articulation and I think these new bodies take the design to a new level. Can't wait to see the new Ken Kelly card art!
