probably 1970's. It was my nerighbors set. It may have been a dida type but I cannot remember. What I do know is that one part of the wall paneling that would normally show some sort of graphic above your usual control panel, had "hooks" on the wall. This indicated that different panels showing different scenes could be used since they would attach by sliding on the plastic hooks coming off the wall. I am still quite certain it was Mego, though we were using star wars figures with it. Does this sorto f setup sound familiar to anyone?

Hmmm....it definitely was not the Star trek set (that is one Mego set I actually do own), but the changing scenes for the hall of justice is ringing a strong bell
I could be wrong but I seem to recall the wall panel part I was remembering as being a bottom level of a set, or it had a "roof" slightly overhead. Did the Pocket heroes have anything like this? I also wonder if maybe it did have a full contraption that was "ripped off" the panel and perhaps this is why it looked like it did to me?
The one thing I am also pretty certain of was that it was superhero based"What motivated him to throw a puppy at the Hells Angels is currently unclear,"

The Hal of Justice play set had a chamber which you could place a figure in and then slide closed, the figure was then seen through the middle of different disaster scenes that would slide into place with a rail and lever system. Not sure what other play sets had the hooks for the scenes.Comment

yeah it looked like hooks, but it could have very well been just a broken set with the main apparatus ripped off giving a "hook illusion"
Were there any sort of super hero- Mego-ish knock off dida type sets back then?"What motivated him to throw a puppy at the Hells Angels is currently unclear,"
