    Flea Market findings

Another weekend has come by, I went to he flea market in Long Beach. I found Starsky and Hutch for 15 bucks for the pair all I am missing are Starky's shoes, both in great condition; that was all for Mego finds. What I found that made laugh and got it for a buck was a knock off star wars figure of a wookie.... Star Warrio!! Card is in bad shape and also was wrong it suppose to have an AT-St driver instead is Chewie or someone from his family in it. Obviosly no brand name... I will take a pic later. Any luck finding megos in the wild??

I was lucky enought to find this hanging around a shop and it had some goodies inside but not the playset.....I have to clean the box up a bit but still, not a bad find....better than what I usually find, NOTHING!!

I got three Sears catalogs from the mid seventies plus a battered Gold Key Star Trek for $6 today.

Went to a toyshow in the morning but only spent $5 on a boxed AJ scramble cycle outfit.

Two weeks ago I was lucky enough to find my first Tomland figure, it is one of the short non mego-ish ones with a glow head. I didn't know these were ever available in Canada. Along with that I got a 3 3/4 inch mego scottie and a strange unmarked figure that looks like Charlton Heston as Tarzan? or some sort of jungle fighter, and a couple of voltron figures all for $1.00.

I always love going to flea markets and yard sales, but very rarely do I find any megos or other things that I normally collect. Not to say I do not but things. Still come across original Star Wars figures from time to time and sometimes some Battlestar galactica stuff too... I pick up what I can when I see it!
