    Columbus Toy Show roll call

The last show at Columbus Vets Memorial is Sunday, April 6th. We're trying to get a mini-Megohead rendezvous organized. I will have a table full of Mego and ReMego goodness including my pal Brick Mantooth. Rob Godzilla Pyatt will be there as well. Who else?

Rob shared this video in a previous thread:

And our friend Sean Dean has a ton of pics of past shows up on his site:

We're in the planning stages. May make a weekend out of it to take our daughter to The American Girl store, and also take in the Lego Store, and probably a movie theater to see Cap: Winter Soldier.

That sounds awesome. There is a theater at Easton along with AG and the Lego Store, with lots of dining options. The Lego Store is on the small side and always busy, but the back wall with the bulk bricks has been a treat for us more than once.

^Thanks Steve, that's probably what we'll do. Still not 100% committed, but should know in a few days.

Also check out the Big Fun store on High Street in the Short North area. It's a vintage toy store covering mainly the 70s & 80s.

(I'll probably be at the show.)

Big Fun is excellent and I'd highly recommend it.

I'll be there under the "Inner Space" banner. I will have a bunch of Micronauts, Microman, Shoguns and Jumbos. A huge selection of vintage 3 3/4 inch from all sorts of different lines. And I am also bringing a large assortment of MOTU.

Hi. I'd like to throw out a few suggestions of things to do in Columbus on Sunday in addition to the toy show. There's also a rock & mineral show on the north end of town (15-20 minutes away; north on I-71).

The art museum has free admission on Sundays (just go 5 minutes east on Broad St).

Butterflies are back at the conservatory (another 10 min east on Broad; $12 adults / $6 kids).

And the Blue Jackets play the Islanders at 6:00 at Nationwide Arena.

                  Thanks!

Columbus is a great place to raise kids...or in which to be a big kid.
